To help us expand and scale up our footprint, we are currently looking for a Product Wizard with UX Spellbook and Staff to join our team.

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer with a strong affinity or backpack in Product Management to join our dynamic team.

This unique hybrid role is ideal for a creative thinker who is passionate about designing intuitive user experiences and possesses the strategic mindset to contribute to product development.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet both user needs and business goals.

With your creative input, we can continue to develop our cutting-edge online collaboration and workflow platform used by creative video teams to produce the most compelling content.

What you will do

  • User Experience Design
    • Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to gather insights.
    • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas.
    • Develop user personas, journey maps, and scenarios to guide the design process.
    • Collaborate with developers to ensure the implementation of designs meets quality standards.
    • Maintain and iterate on design systems and style guides.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with the product owner and marketing team to ensure the consistency of the user experience across all products and channels.
    • Present design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders and users.
    • Foster a user-centered design culture within the organisation.
  • Product Management
    • Assist in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market trends and user feedback.
    • Capture functional and business needs from users and the internal commercial team, and translate them into product requirements.
    • Work with stakeholders to prioritise features and create detailed product specifications.
    • Participate in agile development processes, including release planning and backlog grooming.
    • Monitor product performance and user engagement to identify areas for improvement.
    • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX design, preferably within the tech or media industry.
    • Experience with product management is a plus, and a strong interest in developing product management skills is essential.
    • Language skills: English, French and/or Dutch
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Miro).
    • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end development principles is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Notion).
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • Strong team-player skills combined with the ability to work independently when appropriate.
    • High attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
